In this Hollywood parody, Day writes, directs, and stars alongside Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Common, Jason Sudeikis, Jillian Bell, John Malkovich, Jason Bateman, and Ray Liotta in one of his final appearances.

Robert Rodriguez’s twisting new sci-fi thriller stars Ben Affleck. Hypnotic, which co-stars Alice Braga from The Suicide Squad and was co-written by Rodriguez and Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island), follows an Austin police investigator who discovers his missing daughter and a run of high-profile bank robberies may be linked to a secret government agency.

Fast X is still coming our way, despite a supposedly out-of-control budget after longtime Fast franchise director Justin Lin stepped away from the picture in April. It will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise. Fast newcomers Jason Momoa and Brie Larson will join familiar faces.

White Men Can’t Jump

White Men Can’t Jump, Hulu’s new remake of the 1992 Wesley Snipes/Woody Harrelson Ron Shelton comedy, stars Jack Harlow and Friday Night Lights’ Sinqua Walls as the legendary basketball hustlers. Co-starring Teyana Taylor and Laura Harrier from Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well as Lance Reddick in one of the late actor’s final performances.

Kandahar

Kandahar, Gerard Butler’s latest film, follows an undercover CIA man who must flee deep, hostile territory in Afghanistan after his identity is discovered in an intelligence leak. Navid Negahban from Homeland and Legion, as well as Travis Fimmel from Vikings, appear in the film.

This live-action version of Disney’s 1989 animated musical masterpiece, The Little Mermaid, is directed by Rob Marshall. The film, which will once again star Halle Bailey as Ariel, will chronicle the story of the youngest daughter of King Triton (Javier Bardem), the ruler of the underwater country Atlantica, who becomes attracted by the world of humans. Ariel’s quest leads her into the clutches of the conniving sea witch Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) when she falls hopelessly in love with the attractive Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King). Voice actors include Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina.

Marquis “Mookie” Cook makes his acting debut as LeBron, with Dermot Mulroney and Wood Harris.

Miles Morales embarks on an adventure throughout the multiverse with Gwen Stacy and a new squad of Spider-people (including Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099) in the spectacular, animated Lord and Miller-produced Spider-Verse. Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Luna Lauren Vélez return, with new voices given by Issa Rae (as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman), Jason Schwartzman (as the Spot), and Daniel Kaluuya (as Hobart “Hobie” Brown/Spider-Punk).
