Takht
Takht is a big-budget, ambitious film announced by Karan Johar in 2019. It was rumoured that it would star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor.
Vicky was going to play Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, and Ranveer was supposed to play Dara Shikoh, Aurangzeb’s older brother and heir apparent to the throne. The film was supposed to be about their struggle for the throne, or takht.
However, due to the epidemic, it was put on hold. However, we sincerely hope that an incredible story like this is realised in the future because it would be a fascinating watch!
Dostana 2
This film was scheduled to star Kartik Aaryan, but it was cancelled due to claims of a feud between Kartik and Karan Johar. Janhvi Kapoor was reportedly also cast in the film. However, its fate is still unknown. There have been reports of a recasting, but the production firm has yet to make an announcement.
The Immortal Ashwatthama
Following the success of Uri, Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Dhar announced their next ambitious collaboration, The Immortal Ashwatthama. However, during an appearance on Koffee With Karan, Vicky disclosed that it, like Takht, had been shelved. It remains to be seen whether it will ever be made, as the studio producing the picture and the filmmaker are at odds over its cast.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has frequently discussed films that we have waited a long time to witness on the big screen. Bajirao Mastani was one such film. Originally slated to star Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the film was recast with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Similarly, despite much ado, Baiju Bawra has yet to be released. Initially, it was reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will play the protagonists. However, it is currently rumoured to be in the works, with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the starring roles. Let’s wait and see when it comes out!
