Winter Fashion Trends – Winter is approaching, whether you like it or not. Sure, we’ll miss summer’s carefree fun and autumn’s warm comforts, but winter has its own advantages. If you live in a colder area, you’ll spend the majority of your time indoors, which is ideal for displaying your favorite clothing. More clothing means more opportunity to express yourself. In other words, now is the moment to get serious about clothing.
Winter Fashion Trends
Anti-Logo
You may thank the fashion gods for this because flashy logos are absolutely out this season. This winter, a more refined, subtle style will reign, and no matter what label you’re wearing, you’ll wear the clothes, not the other way around. I won’t use the overused word that rhymes with shmuiet shmuxury, but that’s the general feeling. You probably didn’t realize that the three pieces below are from some of the most well-known premium brands.
Baggy Jeans
A more relaxed fashion culture is on the way, which will include more people wearing baggy pants. The more baggy, the better. This is also a terrific method to wear low-rise jeans without feeling self-conscious about it. Baggy jeans, with the appropriate fit (or lack thereof), may actually be flattering and give you an impression of easy cool.
Back to Basics
Minimalism can be difficult in a world full of cute, colorful clothes, but if you truly want a timeless, simple wardrobe, now is the moment to get back to fundamentals. To stay stylish this winter, all you need are classic trousers, an oversized button-down shirt, and a sleek sweater. You may dress them up or down, but having these important necessities makes getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Touchable Texture
Winter is all about heightened textures for me. Why not experience the glimmer of a chandelier and the sheen of velvet couches in your clothes? This season, designers are offering us more and more options, so have fun with it (and wear the fur pants unashamedly).
Luxurious Comfort
There are two kinds of comfort: sweatpants and hoodies, and luxury comfort. This comfort includes ultra-soft cashmere, tight knits, and flattering designs that can be worn from the sofa to the commute without making you look or feel like a slob.
Dark Florals
If there’s one thing you should know about florals, it’s that they can be worn at any time of year—as long as you pick your colors carefully. Florals in winter are all about darker jewel tones. Wear aubergine in the winter instead of lavender in the summer. Do you like the color lime green? Consider emerald or forest green. Dark florals are enigmatic but bold, and they are the perfect style to attempt this season. Look through Richard Quinn’s previous collections for styling ideas!
Expensive (Looking) Coats
It may seem apparent that you’ll need a coat in the winter, but these aren’t any ordinary coats. This style isn’t something you throw on over your actual clothes and then discard once you’re inside. These are the outfit’s components. While purchasing a high-quality winter coat is usually a sensible investment, you don’t have to break the bank to participate in this trend.
Precious Cargo
This winter, the cool girls’ favorite summer trend is here to stay. Cargos will be available in thicker fabrics, deeper hues, and even maxi skirts this time. What is our recommendation? Choose whatever pocket you want to use for your chapstick, keys, and credit card now (or, like a regular person, just couple it with a lovely purse).
Business Casual
When it comes to fashion, business casual hasn’t always been a great term, but it’s making a comeback. If the thought of slacks and blazers makes you squirm, we believe it’s time to reconsider. There is a way to make business casual chic, and you can test the waters for your own particular style this winter.
Cropped Jackets
Perhaps not the most practical trend, but a cropped jacket will be a terrific statement item this winter if worn in the right place, at the right time, and in the appropriate conditions. The cropped jacket’s appealing proportion pulls the focus to your waist, and whether coupled with big pants (dare we say the aforementioned baggy jeans) or something fitting and high-rise, the style looks very chic.
